Seniors ( 7-11 years ) Advanced ( 12-18 years )
These one hour classes develop pupils vocal techniques while
studying pop and musical songs. Movement is set to the songs
to enhance their performance. Vocal improvisation, harmony
and aural skills, microphone techniques, audition tips,
characterisation, choreography and music terminology is
also explored during the year
Exam Grades 1-8 for 7-18 years
Children are entered for exams with London College of Music
‘Music Theatre’ syllabus. Students have to perform
2-4 songs depending on the grade and introduce and discuss
their pieces with the examiner. The main focus is on their
vocal and performance abilities however additional marks
are given for their dance or drama skills shown.
